Amphibious Geodesic Nexus and Ignited Space
AGNIS is a one-of-a-kind geodesic structure designed to exist at the intersection of land and water. Built for gathering, ceremony, and creative expression, it offers an immersive environment where fire, form, and community converge. Whether hosting intimate gatherings or open events, AGNIS is a space for those drawn to connection, beauty, and the elemental.

Julian Smith is an inventor, facilitator, and maker with a deep love for community, fire, and structural beauty. He builds things that bring people together — tools for connection, structures for gathering, and spaces that feel alive.
AGNIS grew out of years of collecting materials, attending burns, and holding a vision — then letting creativity find the way to make it real. A core value running through the whole project is reclaiming — giving discarded things a second life. The struts, the steel pentagon, the sheet covering, the floating trampoline, and the foam pads are all reclaimed materials that found their way into something new.
He continues to iterate on the structure, adding systems that let it float, covers that make it all-season, and new ideas that keep AGNIS evolving.
